Cheap Near Beer Me
Creator and developer · SwiftUI, MapKit, Supabase · TestFlight beta
GasBuddy, but for beer: a crowdsourced map of the cheapest and best-value beer near you.
Cheap Near Beer Me answers one question: where can I go right now to get the most beer for my money?
Prices come from people at the bar, and every venue is ranked by cost per ounce, shown as a pint or 12 oz can equivalent, with a toggle for the absolute cheapest. Happy-hour deals get a badge, but regular prices set the ranking.
It’s a native SwiftUI and MapKit app with a widget, App Intents and Spotlight indexing, backed by Supabase with Postgres and PostGIS. The first launch market is Raleigh, NC.
